SYNC 2021 organizers will provide training on how to access the conference’s numerous sessions and resources.

Due to the uncertainties around the COVID variants and vaccination rates, the SYNC 2021 Conference will be held virtually on September 21 – 22 with several plenary sessions and special SYNC sessions, all addressing ending the epidemics. The virtual platform will be easy to navigate and will have many features to enhance your virtual experience, including connecting with other attendees, viewing poster presentations and watching on-demand sessions you may have missed. SYNC 2021 will include both live and pre-recorded presentations as webinars with live Q & A text chat with speakers.

No. The virtual conference platform is browser-based and mobile-friendly. All you will need is a device (desktop, laptop, tablet or phone) and an internet connection. You will not have to install any software.

The conference agenda is set for Eastern Time.

No. Since the conference is virtual, you do not need to register for or select ahead of time the sessions that you want to attend. You can move around from session to session within the virtual platform and you will have an opportunity to view any sessions you missed on-demand after the conference.

We hope you will be able to join us for the full dynamic conference however we understand that is not always possible with everyone’s busy schedules. The good news is that all sessions will be available to paid registrants to watch on-demand post-conference.

Yes. All sessions will have a Q&A feature that will allow attendees to communicate and ask questions via a text chat message board. All tracks and institutes will be simulive, meaning a recording will be played at a specific time and the speakers will be available to answer questions throughout the entire session.

Yes. Conference attendees will be able to connect with other attendees, sponsors and speakers through one-on-one or group text, as well as video messaging.
